The crew down on the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge have been working hard and accomplishing a ton! Once the MLC300 crane made it to shore the real work began. We had subcontractors come out and build the 133ft long pier rebar shaft cages. While that was being done, the pier shafts were being drilled into the ground. Once the cages and shafts were ready, they installed the shaft cages and concreted it all in. From there the rest of the piers and abutments were concreted and formed. Currently crews are setting the bridge girders. Below are a couple videos of the progress.
